Bob Marley the Legend of Regae Music

Bob Marley was a singer, songwriter, guitarist and activist Jamaica. Born with the name of Robert Nesta Marley on February 6, 1945 in Nine Miles, Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica.

Bob Marley started his career with the Wailers, the group he forms with Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston in 1963.

Bob Marley Rita Marley married in February 1966. And Rita who introduced Bob to Rastafarianism. In 1969, Bob, Tosh and Livingston had fully embraced Rastafarianism, which strongly influenced their music and reggae in general.

The Wailers collaborated with Lee Scratch Perry, produces excellent hit-hits such as Soul Rebel, Duppy Conquerer, 400 Years and Small Ax. Collaboration is a bitter end because Perry sold in the UK without the approval of the Wailers. But these events to fruition sweet, Chris Blackwell, owner of Island Records and signed the Wailers album produced CATCH A FIRE and BURNIN.

In 1976, Bob Marley moved to England. Creativity does not subside, Exodus managed nangkring in the British charts for 56 weeks. This success was followed the next album, that is RICH. Success was able to take reggae music to the western world for the first time.

In 1977, Bob Marley convicted of skin cancer, but hidden from the public. Bob Marley returned to Jamaica in 1978, and issued survival in 1979 was followed by successful European tour.

Bob Marley perform 2 shows at Madison Square Garden in order to embrace blacks in the United States. But on September 21, 1980, Bob Marley collapsed while jogging in NYC's Central Park. Her cancer had spread to the brain, lungs and stomach. The program reggae singer finally breathed his last breath in Miami Hospital on May 11, 1981 at the age of 36 years, leaving a wife and 5 children.
